Apointments.....

Today I made my first OB appointment.... turns out they don't have anything available soon-ish, so I got an appointment for the 18th of Nov. and that's just an orientation, So, I'll get actually seen sometime after that. The waiting is hard.... and boring.

Blood test, blood test.

To start getting seen for a pregnancy, you first need a possitive blood test.... so off I went. After dealing since yesterday with the nonsense that comes with being a military "dependant", trying to get seen in a military hospital, I got them to draw my blood. Called them back in 3 hours... "it's possitive, congratulations!".... I already knew that, now what? NOw, I wait until tomorrow, to make my first appointment, 'cause the appointment line is already closed.
:-S

Today I asked Andrea what the baby's name was, hoping to see if she gave me a boy or a girl name... her answer was, "the name is Sweetie Pie"

One test was SOOOO not enough...

So.... last night I'm at Walmart, doing some shopping, when I had a sudden (and very random) thought cross my head. My period was late! So I did what any normal woman would've done... call the hubby, freak HIM out, wrap up the shopping, get home, pee on a stick, stare at the stick, wondering if I'm imagining things, I see two lines, or is it one? and finally, consult the hubby. He says the second line is too faint, take another one in the morning.

This morning he had eye surgery (PRK), so we went to the eye clinic early, early. It was hard holding the pee for so long 'cause I wanted to use the first morning pee and I didn't get a hold of a pregnancy test until at least 10:00am. Anyway, couldn't hold it any longer, peed in a public restroom, and got a + sign.... hhmmmmm. Two out of two.... maybe two defective tests. So, I went and got a couple more test.... all possitive.... ok, so if 4 tests from 3 different brands say I'm pregnant, I should assume that I am. Expect baby Alvarado in July in a theater near you.
